A neutral background and dimensional gilding impart an air of
sophistication to this unique stemware holder adorned with creamy

with any bottle. Stemware holder measures approx. 7-1/2” x
5”. The class project is the stemware holder. The bottle

bottle at home. Supplies for etching the bottle will be available
for purchase in our booth.
Supply Information: Stencil ST-507 is provided.

this and help you avoid shipping charges from items sold
by us, we allow students to place pre-paid orders for delivery

or give us a call at 301.797.1300.

Drybrushing & Creating Monochromatic Form
Society of Decorative Painters Conference
Thursday, May 29, 2008 6:00PM to 10:00PM
Drybrushing provides a gradual transition of
values creating a realistic, refined image. With a properly prepared
brush, drybrushing is an uncomplicated technique accessible to
painters of all skill levels. Regardless of the style in which
a design is being painted, the key to creating a believable image
is using value to create form. This technique-oriented class
will focus on properly loading the brush, determining placement
for values along with interpreting basic shapes within recognizable
objects. Floating will also be addressed.
Supply Information: A set of
Crescent™ brushes is provided for each student. In addition
to regular painting supplies, students should bring or purchase
a set of Mixtique
Angles for floating. In order to reduce sales
taking place at the start of class (and sometimes running over
into class time) we ask that you pre-purchase the necessary supplies.
To assist you with this and help you avoid shipping charges from
items sold by us (we are the only source for mixtique angular
brushes), we allow students to place pre-paid orders for delivery
in class. You can place your order online here at rebeccabaer.com
or give us a call at 301.797.1300.
Please remember to indicate the class--Drybrushing (and conference:
SDP) in which the order is to be delivered.
