Designed to accommodate our masonite placemats, this beautifully hand crafted box measures roughly 15" x 19-1/2".  The lid is constructed of cabinet-grade plywood for both strength and beauty.  The box, a combination of solid wood sides and a plywood bottom, has small button feet.  A beautiful embossed trim provides the finishing touch.  To use the box for storage, you may want to line the bottom with felt in lieu of painting.  This will prevent items from sticking to varnish or paint as well as eliminate the possibility of items scratching the finish.
